One of the nation's leading suppliers of metal roofing and gutter products, Englert, Inc. was founded by Herbert Englert in 1966. Englert pioneered the use of portable machinery to install seamless gutters on-site at the customer’s home. This allowed for custom installations and better fitting gutters.

Englert introduced the concept of a total gutter system, selling not only materials, equipment and accessories, but offering product support to a network of independent dealer/contractors. Hundreds of contractors quickly embraced the system and within a decade, Englert and his company had branch offices and a dealer network that nearly encompassed the entire nation from Maine to Florida and as far west as California.

In the mid-1980's, Englert took the same concept and applied it to the metal roofing industry, selling portable roll-forming machinery and materials, accessories and hardware to roofing contractors and installers. Englert offered a total package of value-added support including certified technicians providing on-site service and maintenance, machine training, marketing, product testing, engineering expertise and the best warranties in the industry. This solidified Englert's position as not just a gutter expert, but the leader in metal roofing and rainware products for home and commercial properties.

After years of intense product research and development, in 2007, Englert, Inc., introduced the RainPro Design Series to homeowners searching for different and better rain gutter systems to protect their homes.

RainPro is the only gutter system available on the market today, which has the capacity of a six-inch, commercial type gutter, and the designer styling that makes it look no bigger than the typical five-inch gutter used on most homes.
